  • Why Turks & Caicos:
    • No direct flights to St. Bart's or Grand Cayman (other options considered very safe)
    • Dominican/Jamaica/Bahamas — higher crime advisory, heavy sargassum season, and/or need currency exchange
    • TCI uses USD, low sargassum, daily nonstop, and direct English
    • Most other locations are heavily built out; don't have ground floor walk-out to the beach; have multi-hundred room multi-storied buildings
